About Credible

What is Credible?

Credible is primarily a search engine that does the hard work for you! There is a lot of misinformation out on the web, and sometimes people need help figuring out what information is true and what is false, and that's okay! Even Credible's Creator has trouble sometimes. Credible takes your keywords and searches over a hundred(more every day) sites that the Credible Creator has deemed a reliable source of information using the criteria she learned in school to help build Credible. Why is Credible important?

Credible is important because with so much information out there, it can be hard to discern what is true and what is untrue. When you don't know that a source is unreliable, then when you talk about the subject you might get laughed out of the room, and Credible wants you to very much stay in the room. We want you to dominate the room with your knowledge! It's important to get informed and stay informed, and to make sure what you talk about is accurate. This is why Credible is so important to have if you want to win those Twitter arguments we know you love to get in(or at the very least sit back and watch the show).

How does Credible work?

Credible uses a Google-hosted search engine API to scour many credible sources and sites on the internet so you don't have to wade through Google's millions of search results to find the reliable information to back up your argument on Thanksgiving.
